TRACEANA GA4 INSIGHTS
Find where subscribers drop off.
TraceAna GA4 Insights is a web application that connects to your Google Analytics 4 property and turns it into a report telecom and MVNO teams can act on — step-by-step funnel attrition, automatic spike and drop detection with root-cause attribution, and plain-English answers about your traffic.
What it does.
Funnel attrition
Site visit → plan viewed → configured → checkout → payment → order complete. Users, pass-through rate, drop-off and distance from target at every step.
Anomaly detection
Every day is scored against a rolling baseline. Unusual movements are flagged with severity and explained by the campaigns, plans and channels that drove them.
Segment diagnostics
For the biggest leak, pass-through is measured per device, browser, OS version, region and channel — showing where friction concentrates.
Ask TraceAna
Ask “top campaigns by conversions last 14 days” and get a chart, a table and the figures — queried live from GA4, never estimated.
Report-wide filters
Filter by channel, campaign, source, plan, device, circle or new-versus-returning. Filters apply to the entire analysis, including anomaly detection.
PDF, Excel & CSV export
Export the full report — funnel, diagnostics, anomalies, attribution, drivers and the daily series — in the format your team works in.
How it works.
Sign in with Google
Use the Google account that already has access to your GA4 property. TraceAna requests read-only Analytics permission and never sees your password.
Choose a property
Pick from the GA4 properties your account can already see. TraceAna cannot access anything you do not already have permission to view.
The report is built
TraceAna queries the Google Analytics Data API for your selected period and the equivalent previous period, then computes funnels, anomalies and attribution.
Explore or export
Filter, ask follow-up questions, and export. Every view re-queries GA4 rather than reading a stored copy of your data.
Permissions requested
openid, email, profile — to identify you and display your account.
analytics.readonly — to list your GA4 properties and read report data. This is read-only: TraceAna cannot create, modify or delete anything in Google Analytics.
No access is requested to Gmail, Drive, Calendar or Contacts.
Your data stays yours
Report figures are fetched from Google when you open a report and held only in a short-lived cache. No analytics data is written to a permanent database, sold, shared with advertisers, or used to train AI models.
Measured facts and modelled estimates are never mixed.
Analytics tools lose credibility the moment a confident-looking number turns out to be invented. TraceAna keeps a hard line between the two.
Stated as measured
Stage volumes, conversion rates, drop-off and anomalies — all returned by the GA4 Data API.
Labelled as modelled
Revenue impact and what-if projections, derived from a value-per-conversion you configure.
Never asserted
Technical root causes. GA4 shows where users leave, not why — so TraceAna reports where friction concentrates and leaves diagnosis to you.
Common questions.
What Google permissions does it request?
Three sign-in scopes (openid, email, profile) and one Analytics scope, analytics.readonly, which allows reading Analytics configuration and report data. There is no write access of any kind.
Does TraceAna store my Google Analytics data?
No. Reports are generated by querying the GA4 Data API when you load a page. Results are cached for roughly 15 minutes so refreshing does not exhaust your API quota, then discarded. No analytics data is written to a permanent database.
Do I need to change my website tracking?
No. TraceAna reads the GA4 property you already have. Richer funnels are possible if your site sends events such as plan views or activations, and any stage that cannot be measured is clearly marked rather than hidden.
How does question answering work?
Your question is translated into a structured GA4 query, that query runs against the Analytics Data API, and the answer is built from the values returned. Where an AI model is configured it only helps interpret the question — it never produces figures and is never sent your analytics data.
Can I remove access?
Yes, at any time — sign out in the app, or revoke at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revocation takes effect immediately.
